The earliest known tarot decks weren’t designed with mysticism in mind; they were actually meant for playing a game similar to modern-day bridge. Wealthy families in Italy commissioned expensive, artist-made decks known as “carte da trionfi” or “cards of triumph.” These cards were marked with suits of cups, swords, coins, and polo sticks (eventually changed to wands), and courts consisting of a king and two male underlings. Tarot cards later incorporated queens, trumps (the wild cards unique to tarot), and the Fool to this system, for a complete deck that usually totaled 78 cards.

I became aware of my psychic abilities from a young age. I remember seeing “smoky people” as I would call them when I was probably 5 or 6 years old. I would often see little pictures in my mind's eye, sometimes they were of people who had passed on, and sometimes they could be items or buildings. But they were always significant in some way to a loved one. I also am very sensitive to smells and odours. Quite often when I'm doing a reading for someone I would first become aware of a distinct smell or odour. Is clairvoyance a gift? My own personal opinion is that it is always there ready to awaken. It is sleeping inside that part of your subconscious. It’s always been about you and if you are prepared to open up your senses to activate your gift!
When I am channeling spirit messages I may use one, or all of these modalities. . . .
Clairsentience means clear feeling.
Clairvoyance means clear seeing
Clairaudience means clear hearing
Clairalience means clear smelling
I use these skills when I am providing clients with a reading, I also use them when in a group setting. Please reach out using the form on the about page, or by clicking here if you wish to book a private or group session.
